1. Yam can not be stored in a cold, warm or hot place. Yam can not be left in the garage in summer or winter as the temperature is either too cold or too hot. Leaving yam in the wrong temperature can spoil it within 24 hours.

2. It can not be placed on bare floor (e.g basement tiled floor).

TIPS ON HOW TO PRESERVE YOUR YAM

1. Store in a cool dry place (e.g in your kitchen cabinet).

2. Peel and slice your tuber into preferred sized and portion freeze for up to 6 months.
3. Peel, cut up and boil yams first (takes about 10–12mins in salted boiling water on medium-high heat), cool and place in freezer safe containers, in usable portions, and store in your freezer for up to 12 months.

When checking out with your order, you can request that your yam be cut up into chunks to ensure its good before shipping.

Please note that we can replace your bad yams under the following conditions:

a. Complaint about bad yam must be made within 1 week after delivery. After this, we are not mandated to exchange or replace any bad tuber.

b. A picture/video of the full tuber sliced or cut up must be sent to us. Half or incomplete picture will not be processed or addressed.

Please note that we ask for picture/video of bad yam tubers not because we do not value or trust you, this is needed to claim it back from the supplier.
