At BC Food and Stores, we work to ensure that orders are delivered safely and on schedule. Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available at the delivery address to receive their order.

Receiving Your Delivery

Please ensure that you or someone you have authorized is available to receive your order during the scheduled delivery period.

Drivers will deliver to the address provided when the order was placed. Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address and a phone number where they can be reached.

Condo and Apartment Deliveries

For deliveries to condos, apartments, and other multi-unit residential buildings, delivery is made to the building lobby or designated ground-floor delivery area only.

Our drivers do not take orders upstairs or deliver directly to individual apartment or condo doors.

Customers are responsible for coming to the lobby or arranging for someone to receive the order from the driver.

If You Are Unavailable

If the driver arrives at the delivery location and no one is available to receive the order:

• The driver and/or BC Food and Stores will attempt to contact you using the phone number provided with your order.
• The driver will wait for approximately 10 minutes while attempts are made to reach you.
• If we are unable to reach you within this time, the driver will leave the delivery location and the order will be returned to BC Food and Stores.

Redelivery

If your order is returned to the store because no one was available to receive it and we were unable to reach you, the original delivery fee will not be refunded.

You may choose to:

• Pay a new delivery fee to have the order delivered again; or
• Pick up the order from BC Food and Stores at no additional delivery charge.

Any redelivery will be arranged based on our next available delivery schedule.

Important

• Please keep your phone available on your delivery day and ensure that the contact information provided with your order is correct.
• If someone else will be receiving the order on your behalf, please make the necessary arrangements before the driver arrives.
• For condo and apartment deliveries, please be prepared to meet the driver in the lobby when contacted.
